2026 Summer Center for Free Enterprise (CFE) Intern Completion Ceremony (Mon–Tue)

A completion ceremony was held for the spring semester intern researchers who worked from July 6 to August 25, 2026. A total of five intern researchers spent the term with the Center for Free Enterprise (CFE).

The intern researchers carried out a wide range of work in a short period of time, producing content in various formats such as card news and campaign songs, and even writing Op-Eds themselves. We would like to express our gratitude to the intern researchers for their hard work during the given period.

Location: Pureun Hall

While working as an intern at the Center for Free Enterprise (CFE), I was able to go beyond simply learning about the market economy through books or lectures and gain real-world experience on site. By visiting a National Assembly seminar and the Kakao Data Center in person, I was able to experience the market economy firsthand, from discussions on the economy and policy to corporate innovation and investment. Above all, it was a truly valuable time in which I could directly experience the value of a market economy, where diverse choices and possibilities exist.

Since it was my first internship, I was worried at first about whether I would do well, but I was glad to learn so much by taking on a variety of tasks. What was most meaningful to me was being able to experience activities that are difficult to encounter at school, such as visiting a seminar at the National Assembly in person and planning and producing content. Working with great people, I was able to learn new things and grow, and through this experience I also gained some confidence that I can do well when I enter society. It was especially meaningful to have my first internship at the Center for Free Enterprise (CFE).

Through my two-month internship at the Center for Free Enterprise (CFE), I was able to learn about and understand liberalism and the market economy more broadly. Rather than stopping at theory, I experienced a variety of practical tasks, including creating reels, card news, writing Op-Eds, and producing logo songs. I also greatly improved my planning and communication skills by giving presentations using content I had created myself. It was a meaningful time in which I was able to build my own capabilities by experiencing the entire process from planning and production to presentation.

By creating materials and repeatedly giving presentations at the Center for Free Enterprise (CFE), I was able to develop a broader perspective, and above all, it was a precious time in which I gained the confidence that I can accomplish any task. This internship at the Center for Free Enterprise (CFE) was my first internship experience. I began with vague fears and expectations, but by the end, I think I had gained confidence. I started the internship knowing very little about the market economy or the work processes of a company, but over the course of two months, I truly had the chance to see and learn a great deal. Thank you for teaching me so much and giving me so many opportunities to gain experience.
