The Center for Free Enterprise (CFE) is holding the 29th Market Economy Essay Contest. Our everyday lives as seen through the lens of the market economy—

□ Eligibility: Anyone who supports the market economy

□ Submission Period: Friday, April 21, 2023 ~ Monday, May 1, 2023, deadline at 17:00

□ Topic:

- Any topic related to the market economy: Describe various episodes easily encountered in everyday life using the principles of the market economy

□ Submission Guidelines: 10 pages of 200-character manuscript paper (about one and a half A4 pages, approximately 2,000 to 3,000 characters)

□ Awards

- Grand Prize: 0 winner(s) (certificate and a 300,000 won gift certificate)

- Best Prize: 00 winner(s) (certificate and a 150,000 won gift certificate)

- Excellence Prize: 00 winner(s) (certificate and a 50,000 won gift certificate)

※ All winners will also receive Center for Free Enterprise (CFE) books as supplementary prizes.

□ Other Information

1. Website traffic increases from the day before the deadline. Please register at least one hour before the deadline.

2. In the case of duplicate submissions, only the most recently submitted Op-Ed will be accepted.

3. Submitted entries cannot be edited or deleted.

4. Copyright for all submitted works belongs to the Center for Free Enterprise (CFE).

5. If an entry plagiarizes a previous winning work or plagiarizes/misappropriates another person’s work, the award may be revoked even after selection, and all legal responsibility rests with the entrant.

6. Personal information of applicants will be collected and stored for the purposes of awarding prizes, prize delivery, and newsletter distribution.
