jo_imgA seminar titled “Issues and Challenges of the New Government’s Parental Leave Policy” was held on the theme of the parental leave system and future reform tasks. As concerns over the effectiveness of Korea’s parental leave system have recently emerged as a major policy issue, this seminar was organized as a venue to review the current operation of the system and its legal and institutional limitations, and to explore directions for institutional reform and policy alternatives to provide meaningful support for work-family balance.
