*The Evolution of Identity* Book Concert

The book concert for The Evolution of Identity was held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at Pureun Hall.


This event was organized on the occasion of the publication of The Evolution of Identity to discuss the identity of human beings, society, and civilization, as well as the meaning of liberal democracy and the market economy amid changes in technological civilization.


Author Bok Geoil attended and, based on the question “What kind of beings are we?”, examined how technological changes such as artificial intelligence, robots, brain-computer interfaces, and space exploration are transforming the meaning of human existence.


In the book concert discussion that followed, Emeritus Professor Jaewook Ahn of Kyung Hee University, Emeritus Professor Wootaek Kim of Hallym University, and Emeritus Professor Jungseob Shin of Kangwon National University participated as panelists and continued the discussion on topics including understanding humanity in the age of AI, the identity of the Republic of Korea, liberalism and the market economy, and the future of literature and the arts.
